Crazed Knicks Fans Launch Run AMC Campaign Inspired by Legendary Hip Hop Pioneers

Several fans launch a website and campaign for Knick superstars while paying homage to Hip Hop legends.

A passionate group of New York Knicks fans are proud to announce the launch of a website dedicated to the New York Knicks’ Big Three that was inspired by legendary New York Hip Hop pioneers Run DMC. Run AMC is a brand and marketing campaign created for other die hard Knick fans to support and celebrate one of the NBA's premiere trio of superstars. RUN AMC consists of (A)mare Stoudemire, Car(M)elo Anthony, and Tyson (C)handler. The “Knick Name” Run AMC embodies the parallel between sport and music, while honoring New York as the Mecca of Hip Hop and Basketball.

The site- http://www.run-amc.com- will allow fans the opportunity to buy exclusive Run AMC merchandise, participate in several contest giveaways and receive the latest updates. Run AMC is a brand and marketing campaign created for other die hard Knick fans to support and celebrate one of the NBA's premiere trio of superstars.

“We have seen the success in Golden State in the early 90s with Run TMC in Golden State that consisted of Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, and Chris Mullin. And even though they only lasted two seasons, they are still celebrated twenty years later as the “Original Big Three.” Our mission with this Run AMC marketing campaign is to pay homage to those that came before us, while developing a brand that is nationally recognizable in which Knick fans can easily identify with. We are also looking to partner with a major nonprofit foundation to set and reach a goal of at least ten thousand dollars by donating a single dollar per T shirt sold to fight against childhood obesity, which has more than tripled in the past thirty years. If we can bring together Knick fans across the world for this Run AMC venture, we can make some great strides in changing our culture; and even get our three superstars to the NBA All Star game in the meantime,” says founder Christopher Brown.

On the Run AMC website, there will be a huge shot clock that will show the amount of T shirts sold as we strive to reach our 10k goal. Fans and consumers alike will be able to track our progress through the interactivity of all of our social media avenues including our Twitter, Facebook, and Wikipedia page. The Run AMC campaign welcomes celebrity Knick fans and endorsers to join in the movement to support the brand and effort to fight childhood obesity and wear some cool merchandise while they are at it.
