Diamond and Pearl Pendant Donated to St. Mary Magdalen School

The George Thompson Diamond Company, found online at, recently donated a pricy woman’s bracelet in order to help out a local school. The St. Mary Magdalen School is a Catholic school that focuses on helping to mold their students into good people as well as those who can be successful in college and onwards.

Each year the St. Mary Magdalen School hosts their annual Pennies from Heaven dinner, which is one of the largest fundraising events they put on each year. This year the school is looking to raise $30,000, and local jewelry George Thompson was happy to be able to donate a Lady’s Gold, Diamond and Pearl Pendant for the dinner.

“We’re always excited whenever we get to help out a local charity, especially one that has a history as long and prestigious as the St. Mary Magdalen School does. We just hope that the pendant brings in a good amount for the school.” Said owner George Thompson.

The pendant that was donated has an appraised worth of $595 but may go for more depending on how the auction goes. The money raised from the auction goes to help the children and the school, providing funding for academic enrichment programs as well as to help pad the scholarship fund. This year the event will be held on March 10th at the Red Barn at the Camarillo Ranch in California.
