My goal is to capture reality, and highlight the beauty in the background scenery of our daily discourse. I love grand gestures, so I love to display my art in the most peculiar manner.

Devin Miller is a newly rising artist from Florida. He specializes in creating modern art and using city streets as his gallery. January 1st 2012 marked the day of Miller’s first debut in NYC, and he used his art to portray his vision of the new year. Through Fifth Avenue, large portraits of the across buildings, and walking tourists, displayed opposite the paintings. Hence, when one would walk down fifth avenue, it was like walking through a long mirror. Passerby stopped and watched in awe, and pieces of Miller’s art sold for over 3,000 dollars.

The art pieces were around 10 feet tall, and six feet wide; each of the pieces, when put together, illustrated fifth avenue. On display, the pieces were one foot apart from each other. New Yorkers walked through fifth avenue, in between Miller’s art and its coordinating building. “It was awesome. It was like walking through some sort of mirror maze, only I was in NYC. “ says NYC resident, and observer of Devin Miller Naples Florida’s art, Jonathan Cogan.

Devin Miller has done similar art exhibits in Naples Florida, where he once painted a 200 foot display of Miami Beach, and displayed it across the actual beach. When walking through it, beach goers felt as if they were at the splitting of the Red Sea. “I’ve heard of Devin Miller Naples FL, and was privileged enough to see his work in Florida. I just so happen to be walking on Fifth Avenue for his New York exhibit, and it was exhilarating. The paintings actually looked real, and were life size, so it actually felt like New York City had a long mirror mirroring its beauty.” says New York City worker Daniella Marden.

“My goal is to capture reality, and highlight the beauty in the background scenery of our daily discourse. I love grand gestures, so I love to display my art in the most peculiar manner. I chose New Years day to display my art, because I wanted to instill hope into peoples hearts for the new year.” says Devin Miller Naples FL.
