The components and assemblies are used in PECC’s manufacturing of industrial turbine digital control systems, fuel valves, guide vane actuators and electric start systems.

Based in San Diego County, QCMI specializes in the precision machining of all metals including exotic alloys using Six Sigma methodology and lean manufacturing principles. QCMI received the prestigious United Technologies Corporation (UTC) Supplier Gold award for the last three years. QCMI meets rigorous supplier excellence criteria in both quality and delivery, as required by Hamilton Sundstrand companies. In addition, QCMI is ISO9001/AS9100 registered, Nadcap accredited and ITAR registered.

Precision Engine Controls Corporation (PECC), founded in 1968 as Spasors Corporation, originally specialized in aircraft instrumentation equipment. After a number of acquisitions and a rich manufacturing history, in 1992 it became known as Precision Engine Controls Corporation. ISO 9001 certified since 1997, PECC meets other stringent product certifications such as PED and ATEX. In 2007 PECC was acquired by Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation as an operating unit of UTC.
