The Haynes and Boone, LLP New York office continues its rapid growth with the addition of Sam Lichtman who will serve as of counsel in the Tax Practice Group.

“We continue to locate and hire key talent in the New York office, and the addition of Sam makes us even better equipped to support our clients’ needs in the tax sector,” said Kenneth Bezozo, New York office managing partner. “His significant industry experience and knowledge will certainly be an asset to our team.”

Lichtman has a broad-based tax practice focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and joint ventures, with a particular emphasis on international transactions. He also has extensive experience advising financial institutions, multi-national corporations, private equity sponsors, investment funds and other business and investment entities with respect to cross-border structured investments and financings, financial products and capital markets transactions.

He received his juris doctorate from Columbia Law School.
