Avenue Bank of Nashville today announced three new associates and a promotion.

Ronald L. Samuels, Chairman, CEO and President of Avenue Bank, today announced three new associates and a promotion in the Nashville branches.

Paula Gaines is a Treasury Management Specialist. She comes to Avenue Bank with 25 years experience in the financial services industry, specializing in Treasury Management. She is a Certified Treasury Professional and currently serves as the Vice President of the Nashville Chapter of the Association for Financial Professionals. She most recently was Vice President, Treasury Management Sales with First Tennessee Bank.

Tony Grubbs has joined Avenue Bank as a Mortgage Originator. He has 20 years experience in residential lending and he most recently served as a Senior Mortgage Analyst with Eagle Bank in St. Louis, Missouri. He was recognized by St. Louis Magazine with a 2012 Five Star Mortgage Professional Award for industry professionals who provide exceptional service and overall satisfaction as indicated by clients, peers and industry leaders.

Erika Lamanna Small has been promoted to Private Client Banking Assistant. She joined the bank in May of 2011 as a Concierge Banker. Prior to joining Avenue Bank, Ms. Small received her M.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 2011, and a B.A. in Economics from Elon University in 2009.

Alex Yates has joined Avenue Bank as a Concierge Banker at the Cummins Station branch. Ms. Yates graduated with a B.A. in Banking & Finance from the University of Mississippi in 2010.
