In his new nonfiction book “Stop the Church’s Revolving Door: Building Relationships With Church Members” (published by WestBow Press) Dr. Richard M. Wright offers to readers a tool to increase their church’s engagement with its members.
“Most churches do not have a structure to help them maintain or re-establish relationships within the church,” Wright says. “This ministry structure provides the means for laypeople to maintain relationships with each other. This ministry is needed in every church to improve the church’s health, increase ministry possibilities, and enhance the body of Christ.”
The fight to preserve a church’s relationship with its members is not that unique, Wright believes. “Our society is wrecked by severed relationships caused by divorce, war, crime and anger. The church is not immune to this dilemma.”
“Stop the Church’s Revolving Door” is a must-read for any pastor or church official hoping to retain and grow his or her congregation.
