JetStream Construction Software Version 2.0 Released

JetStream Technologies, the makers of JetStream construction software, have released version 2.0 of their product.The version brings a new, tablet-friendly interface and enhanced project scheduling to the popular application.

JetStream Technologies, one of the newest contenders in the construction software industry, reached a milestone this week with the version 2.0 release of their flagship product JetStream. Included in the release is an overhaul to the application’s design and layout as well as improvements to its project scheduling component.

“Version 2.0 is a big deal for any application,” said JetStream’s founder Payton Staub, “JetStream’s 2.0 release is bringing our clients a more open, mobile-friendly design as well as some changes to our powerful project scheduler. We’re thrilled to be reaching this milestone and have already begun work on even more enhancements to our construction software.”

Launched in mid-2011, JetStream construction project management software is a web-based application designed for construction business owners in both the residential and commercial construction markets. It is one of the first web-based applications to offer an integrated project management suite, providing users with Gantt chart scheduling, custom reporting, bid management and construction estimating with QuickBooks integration.

Version 2.0 of JetStream builds off of these features and gives the application a variable width design that makes it more appropriate for field use on tablets and smartphones. Construction professionals can make daily log entries, manage punchlists and upload project photos directly from jobsites using JetStream.

JetStream also includes a powerful project scheduling control that allows project managers to build schedules, assign resources and view baselines and scheduling conflicts. Version 2.0 builds off of this feature by adding both integrated task management and customizable schedule reports.

When asked about the company’s plans for the coming year Staub responded, “We’re going to maintain our focus on customer value and continue adding features based on their feedback. We’re excited to be offering this kind of technology to professionals in the construction industry.”
