Eco18.com lists its favorite apps to help people live a more eco-friendly lifestyle

It is estimated that one in every two Americans owns a smartphone, according to Nielsen Media. Those with iPhones, Blackberrys or Androids have access to smartphone applications, or apps, at their fingertips which to help make their lives easier when on the go. Green lifestyle site, eco18.com, has recently released its list of favorite green smartphone apps to help people live a more eco-friendly lifestyle.

Carticipate – The best carpooling app we have seen.

greenMeter – Speaking of cars, greenMeter does a great job of tracking you AND your car’s driving performance and suggests any appropriate changes in driving habits.
