The new 160x120 Thermal Imager powered by M12™ from Milwaukee Tool Corporation is the latest addition to their Test and Measurement line and M12™ LITHIUM-ION system. The tool is meant for professional tradesmen working with preventive-maintenance and troubleshooting applications.

“Designed from the ground up with the professional tradesman in mind, this tool is faster, more versatile and easier to use than any other tool in its class,” says Jon Morrow, Director of Marketing, Test and Measurement for Milwaukee Tool Corporation.

The Thermal Imager captures 160x120 high-resolution thermal images, features a visual camera for standard pictures and boasts the largest temperature range in its class (-10° to 350°C, 14° to 662°F).

“Users are able to capture a thermal and visual image on every trigger pull and toggle between the two with the simple push of a button,” says Morrow.

A no-blur, no-wait display updates the screen image 60 times every second and is operated by an uncomplicated five-button interface.

The tool is also available as part of a kit that includes Thermal Imager Report Software for analyzing images and generating reports. Users can download images via SD cards or USB cables. All images taken with the tool are in JPEG format and can be used with any graphics program.

The Thermal Imager is powered by Milwaukee’s exclusive REDLITHIUM™ battery technology. By using the M12™ battery, the tool is compatible with the entire Milwaukee M12™ System of professional power tools (learn more about choosing a battery platform for your cordless tools), which helps you build an arsenal of tools without having to needlessly spend on excessive batteries.
