Mill Valley triathlon training program for women and kids has launched a new and improved website. The company offers a range of group training programs and athletic events aimed at helping women and children of all levels of ability achieve their fitness goals in a fun and supportive environment.

“Visitors to our web site will experience a much better presentation of the Flower Power story,” says Michelle Dodd, Owner of Flower Power Sports, Inc.

The newly redesigned Flower Power Sports (FPS) web site goes live today on the World Wide Web. The company offers women’s triathlon training and coaching by skilled, experienced, and supportive USAT certified coaches and aims to provide every participant in their training program with the encouragement, skills, and training to get to the finish line. The new web site stresses goal-oriented programs, incorporating more information relevant to clients before, during and after the training process. The redesign incorporates a playful active theme, bold colors and graphics, and completely new navigational structure.

“Visitors to our web site will experience a much better presentation of the Flower Power story,” says Michelle Dodd, Owner of Flower Power Sports. “The new design presents our services more dynamically, and incorporates resources outside of typical sales copy – information we think our clients can use to make better decisions. We’re really focused on success-oriented programs for every level of athlete, versus just technical triathlon skills.”

The new site is designed to provide fast, intuitive access to a large amount of information. An improved navigational structure and site-wide search engine have been added to aid visitors who are unsure exactly where to look for specific topics. Coach Michelle, the owner of Flower Power Sports, will also be blogging on the site.

Training pages include detailed descriptions of programs like Tri Training for Beginners and Performance-Oriented athletes, Weekend Clinics and the new Kid Power Tri Club that focuses on athletic programs for children in a non-intimidating and supportive environment.

Events pages include both the Kid Power Triathlon Series and the Women’s Duathlon Series due to launch in summer 2012. In addition, a handy events listing is provided with training schedules and specific upcoming triathlon events.

Galleries and bright photos play a large part in the design so that potential clients can see shots of Flower Power Sports teams and individuals in all training and performance settings, while current clients can view their favorite snapshots from events.

The About section has been expanded to include more in-depth information about the company and coaches, as well as show success stories and provide valuable information in the FAQs and Members Only sections. This section also highlights Flower Power partner businesses.

“I’m very excited about the new site,” continues Dodd. “I really want to make it a community versus just a sales tool. I believe the photos, success stories and members sections really encompass what we’re about – an inclusive, fun place for women to enjoy fitness and become more empowered.”
