Amendment II is proud to announce the appointment of General Robert C. Oaks as Chairman of the Board for Amendment II, Inc. A distinguished and highly decorated veteran, General Oaks is a retired four star United States Air Force general whose extensive experience will broaden the scope and capacity of the strategic implementation and development of our defensive tactical armor material, RynoHide™.

With General Oaks at the helm of the Board of Directors, Amendment II is entering an exciting new phase of unprecedented growth. The wealth of knowledge that General Oaks brings to Amendment II is based on over thirty years of military service. This insight and experience is bolstered by a myriad of civilian leadership positions as well. His powerful level of expertise will contribute greatly to the skyrocketing rate at which Amendment II is expanding. Military experts, industry professionals, and scientists at Amendment II are reaching unprecedented levels of research, development, production, and distribution. General Oaks and the Board of Directors will provide even further efficacy to the vision of the industry team at Amendment II.

The accomplishments of General Oaks are extremely impressive and will serve directly to the advantage of Amendment II, its mission to save lives, and the continual expansion of the use of our product, RynoHide™. General Oaks served in the United States Air Force for thirty four years, in myriad capacities, thus providing unprecedented insight to the practical and necessary implementation of RynoHide™ as a critical strategic defensive material.

General Oaks served as Commander in Chief, US Air Forces in Europe and Commander, Allied Air Forces Central Europe. Prior to that, the general served in many other leadership positions both stateside and abroad. He has seen combat firsthand, having flown 188 combat missions in F-100s over Southeast Asia, in fact, having survived being shot down over the Mekong Delta. He has served in active combat as a Commander with tactical fighter squadrons and as commander for squadrons in training prior to deployment. He is a command pilot with more than 4000 flying hours, including more than 300 combat hours. His credentials for active military duty are exhaustive.

The leadership abilities of General Oaks go well beyond field positions. He has served in various executive positions at US Air Force Headquarters at the Department of Defense, the Pentagon, Washington D. C. These include, but are certainly not limited to, Chief, Joint Plans and Policy, Deputy Chief in Global Plans and Policy, Chief, Joints Policy Division, and more. He has served as Chief in many divisions including International Relations, Pacific-East Asia Division, Europe NATO Division. He has also served within the Directorate of Plans, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff as the Deputy Assistant for National Security Council Matters. This is a sampling of his vast experience. He has directed personnel, operations, and training in many capacities. General Oaks has a foundation of global, practical, community, and business knowledge, all based on an incredible array of experience and a well-rounded education.

General Robert C. Oaks has a tenacious academic record. After attending Brigham Young University, he transferred to the Air Force Academy in 1955 and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1959. He received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Ohio State University in 1967. Further, he completed the Naval War College in 1974.

The achievements go well beyond the military and the academic for General Oaks. Following his retirement from the US Air Force, he served as a Senior Vice President for US Airways. His leadership has been non-secular as well. General Oaks served as a General Authority for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as President of the Africa East Area, the North American Central Area, and the European Area of the church.

General Robert C. Oaks has what it takes as Chairman of the Board of Amendment II. The personal quest for excellence and the demand for the highest of standards is consistent in his record.
