Mitch Duckler Joins Vivaldi Partners Group as Senior Partner, Launches Firm’s Chicago Base

Brand management expert brings blue-chip experience from Coca-Cola, Unilever, and more to leading branding and innovation firm.

Mitch Duckler, a leading authority in brand management and innovation, has joined the leadership team of Vivaldi Partners Group (http://www.vivaldipartners.com) as Senior Partner. This is a new post created as Vivaldi expands its location and reach. Duckler will lead business development efforts and manage multinational projects in strategy, brand positioning, brand portfolio strategy, brand architecture, innovation, and new product development.

Duckler brings over 20 years of brand management and management consulting experience to Vivaldi Partners.

Prior to joining Vivaldi Partners, Duckler was a partner in the Chicago office of Prophet (http://www.prophet.com) where he co-led the brand strategy practice area, and successfully led engagements for Fortune 500 companies including Boeing, Carlson Companies, U.S. Cellular, Deloitte & Touche, Kellogg’s, Campbell’s Soup, Wrigley, NBC Universal, Best Buy, The Home Depot, General Electric and ExxonMobil. He also worked for Kuczmarski & Associates where he led engagements that helped clients identify and commercialize new product opportunities.

Duckler began his career in brand management at Unilever Home & Personal Care, where he worked on category-leading personal care brands such as Suave, Finesse, and Degree. He also worked for The Coca-Cola Company, where he helped launch an in-house marketing consulting group that provides consumer and brand marketing consulting services to many of the company's largest retail customers.

Duckler chairs the American Marketing Association (AMA) annual Strategic Marketing Conference, and has written articles on brand and marketing strategy for industry publications such as Brandweek, Marketing News, and Marketing Management. He is also a guest lecturer for Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and Medill Integrated Marketing Communications.

Duckler earned a B.S. in Business from the University of Minnesota and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. He resides with his family in Chicago, IL.
