The new B-to-B site features the industry’s first Wiki-like platform which allows networks to submit and edit information on network needs and in development programming directly on the site. This new technology further supports CableU's mission of ensuring subscribers are getting the most up-to-date information on U.S. television programming -- directly from industry insiders!, which was launched in 2006, utilizes Nielsen-based data and is the only source for independent perspective, analysis and actionable insights on the industry’s top networks. provides in-depth monthly cable program and ratings analysis, network profiles, monthly television performance graphs and a wide variety of information about production companies, industry executives, cable programs and the programming needs of these networks.

In addition to a blueprint for television producers on what and how to pitch, the new site also features:

  •     WIKI-LIKE, OPEN PLATFORM: Leverages technology to create the industry's first truly open, interactive information source where network execs and producers can edit information about their networks / companies and add / edit information about themselves and others. CableU analysts and employees remain as gatekeepers, adding new content as well and moderating user-submitted edits and additions.
  •     DATA FILTERING AND SEARCH: Uses technology to allow users to filter and search for information on networks execs, current and in development programs, network needs and program submission processes with more granularity / ease.
  •     SYNC TO EXISTING LINKEDIN ACCOUNT: Allows network executives to log in to the site using their current LinkedIn credentials. If no profile for a person with this user's LinkedIn name exists on the site yet, a new profile is created for this person. This new feature effectively creates the first cable industry-specific social networking site.

Later this year, will also add a feature that will allow users to choose specific networks to “follow” (for example, competitors or, for producers, networks for which they wish to develop). This function will also provide for the receipt of emails about changes just at those networks, when made on the site.
