InCrowd, the first to bring real-time market research methodologies to the life sciences industry, today announced Heather Alcott as Vice President of Business Development. In this newly created position Alcott will be responsible for leading the sales organization and driving growth of InCrowd’s real-time research platform in the healthcare sector.

“Heather’s strong entrepreneurial background combined with her market research experience makes her a perfect fit for the role,” said InCrowd’s CEO Janet Kosloff. “Having launched and developed Rockhopper Research into a prosperous business she understands what’s required to make a startup firm successful and we are thrilled to have her join our team.”

Alcott began her market research career with ACNielsen at the headquarters in Oxford, England. She later moved to the ACN Atlanta office managing product portfolio development and consumer engagement for Fortune 500 clients.

Leaving the corporate world to follow her pioneering spirit Alcott joined the startup Bizrate and began selling online market research to Fortune 100 companies. Combining her market research skills and entrepreneurial focus she started Rockhopper Research, creating a multimillion-dollar business with an emphasis on international online qualitative research.
