Ashworth College http://www.ashworthcollege.edu/, a leader in online education, was recognized by The Fort Benning Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation during the 2012 Sponsor Recognition Ceremony, held January the 12th at Fort Benning.
"We’re proud of our affiliation with the Ft. Benning FMWR,” said Rodney Butler, U.S. Army First Sergeant, Retired and Ashworth College Military Education Coordinator. "The military has always been an important part of Ashworth College and it gives us great satisfaction that we are able give something back to these military families.”
During 2011, Ashworth College sponsored several on-post events, including the Eggstravaganza, the Sayers Library Youth Summer Reading Program and the Back To School Bash. Ashworth plans to continue its sponsorships in 2012.
For nearly 25 years, Ashworth has made it possible for military personnel, veterans and military spouses to further their careers by earning accredited, affordable career diplomas and college degrees. As an online school, Ashworth programs can be completed anywhere in the world.
