Tenpointsix 2.0 Takes Field Service Offline

Pioneering field service application, Tenpointsix, releases version 2.0 and brings its unique brand of visual step-by-step guidance through work procedures to field technicians, with or without Internet access. The 2.0 release of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 based product also includes greatly enhanced mobile and back office capabilities.

By far, the biggest addition to version 2.0 is the ability to use the mobile application offline, when no 3G/4G or WiFi connectivity is available.

TENPOINTSIX, LLC announced today the launch of TENPOINTSIX 2.0, further redefining field service software with new and improved updates including the highly anticipated Offline Mode, extended mobile functionality, and enhanced procedure options. TENPOINTSIX is a field service application built on a Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 foundation that gives field technicians the ease of use and mobility of iPad and iPhone devices. The browser based management console allows the back office to manage customers, assets, service procedures, documentation, dispatching, and work orders and produces a 360 degree view of sales, marketing, and service data. The mobile side allows technicians to receive work orders, run procedures, record data, and view asset and customer information.

By far, the biggest addition to version 2.0 is the ability to use the mobile application offline, when no 3G/4G or WiFi connectivity is available. In Offline Mode, Field personnel can still view work orders, run procedures, collect data, and view relevant service instruction including diagrams, photos, and video, and then sync with the back office once network connectivity is reestablished.

Other notable additions to TENPOINTSIX 2.0 include the ability for mobile dispatching and mobile quotes. Technicians can now create and schedule work orders for additional tasks that come up while on the job. In addition, they can easily create, view, and email CRM quotes while in the field. These quotes can be reviewed and updated by the back office or quickly converted into a CRM Sales Order from either the back office or the mobile client. Additionally, new procedure creation methods in version 2.0 open up a whole new realm of possibilities for performing work in the field including survey delivery, completing checklists, and processing payments. All procedures now include the ability to generate a custom form or report which can include company branding at work completion.
