His company is an executive search firm for the timeshare, vacation ownership, fractional, and hospitality industry. “The concept of becoming a headhunter came about rather naturally,” says Trowbridge. After he retired with a distinguished career in the development side Keith found he was frequently being asked to provide connections for timeshare companies looking for executives. “Gradually, the personal recommendations led to establishing this business – Executive Quest, Inc., now eighteen years ago.”
Trowbridge had the connections, having worked in the industry as a developer for several decades as well as being chairman of the Timesharing Council of the former American Land Development Association (ALDA) of which American Resort Development Association (ARDA) became the successor.

Keith Trowbridge got involved in the “vacation by the slice” concept developing the first purpose-built timeshare resort in North America on Sanibel Island in 1974.
