It's such an honor to be chosen for a program of this caliber. I was asked to apply for the program, and was inspired to do so.

Kimberly Conti, a top-producing local real estate broker with an extensive global realty background, will join 60 distinguished women leaders from across the state of California as a member of Leadership California’s Class of 2012.

Conti says she looks forward to learning about key public and private sector issues and enhancing her competitive knowledge about California from state, national and global perspectives. She hopes that by the end of the program she will contribute more fully to California’s vision for the future and to the San Luis Obispo County community.

“It’s such an honor to be chosen for a program of this caliber,” Conti said. “I was asked to apply for the program, and was inspired to do so. After graduating from the Leadership San Luis Obispo program, I learned so much about local key issues, grew both professionally and personally, and was able to take what I learned and apply it here to help the community. I look forward to applying what I learn on a state level.”

Leadership California is a prestigious, yearlong program for 60 women leaders in California. It began in 1992 with a dream to inspire, inform and advance women leaders who would influence California’s future. It provides a critical pathway for successful women who care about advancement, achievement and significance. These women don’t just talk about change. They make change happen.

Leadership California promotes creativity and innovation through the sharing of ideas and best practices. Alumnae serve on nonprofit boards and are knowledgeable appointees for state boards and commissions. Conti owns a successful Central Coast-based real estate agency, Kimberly’s Global Real Estate, and is a graduate of Leadership San Luis Obispo Class XIV.
