BlueBolt, LLC, an interactive web development agency located in Chicago, IL, which is constantly creating new websites and web functionality for clients, has just launched a new website for themselves at http://www.blueboltsolutions.com.

The entire site was built using the Constellation Content Management System (CMS) built by BlueBolt’s sister company, PackFlash. Constellation is an interactive module suite on the DotNetNuke (DNN) platform that allows for advanced inter-relation of content.

“This solution was perfect for BlueBolt because of our new content creation initiatives. Constellation made it easy to add and display our content any way I could imagine,” says BlueBolt’s Marketing Associate, Angela Wysocki.

It is a common challenge in web development to intuitively relate and display large amounts of diverse media, including text, video and images. Constellation is centered around publishing and relating all sorts of content to each other in just a few clicks.

Constellation allowed for the website to have extensive functionality produced in a fraction of the time. The new site puts a strong emphasis on client work, showcasing BlueBolt’s capabilities with a sleek interface. Additionally, the site showcases Constellations’ capabilities and online marketing best-practices.

“It was important to us to ‘eat our own dog food’ so to speak,” said Jason Lichon, one of the company owners. “Using our own PackFlash tools to build our site helped us validate that we were going in the right direction, and identified some things we could do to make things easier for our clients. It was an insightful process.”
