Cherie Soria started Living Light Culinary Institute in 1998. She and her staff have inspired students from over 50 countries and six continents, teaching them how to make healthy gourmet raw vegan cuisine. The Hot Raw Chef Sweet Valentine Video Recipe Contest will highlight step-by-step demos of quick and healthy low-glycemic, gluten-free dishes with a decidedly gourmet flair.
“We’re excited about all of the new gluten-free, low-glycemic recipes,” says Soria. The Hot Raw Chef Sweet Valentine contest holds a special place in our hearts since my husband and I were married on Valentines Day.”
A total of over $4200 in prizes will be awarded to the contest winners. Grand Prize is a $2,000 scholarship towards tuition for any Living Light culinary class or a stay at Living Light Inn, plus a Green Star Elite 5000 Juicer from Tribest, valued at $539, along with other prizes. Runner-up receives a $500 credit towards a culinary class at Living Light, and the People’s Choice Award, valued at $250, goes to the aspiring chef who wins the most votes online. Everyone who registers to vote will receive an eBook of each of 32 the Hot Raw Chef Sweet Valentine recipes and a chance to win a Green Star Elite 5000 Juicer or a Tribest Personal Blender 300 XL.
