“I’m thrilled,” says Vigue of the award. “Pilates Style is the industry gold standard for all things Pilates, so to be mentioned in their ‘Best of’ issue is a huge honor."

Orlando business owner Sean Vigue is on a mission to prove that Pilates is not just for women. The Pilates instructor and owner of fitness empire Sean Vigue Fitness has long emphasized the benefits of yoga and Pilates for men, producing a line of videos specifically for guys.
Top industry magazine Pilates Style recently caught wind of one such video. Featured in its February 2012 issue, Heidi Dvorak deems the Pilates for Men DVD the Best “For the Guys” of 2011. "For any man who secretly wants to try Pilates, Vigue will banish all intimidation and take even the most macho male (although it's great for gals, too) through a challenging program that's truly fun, builds stamina, improves coordination and underscores the power of this discipline," says Dvorak of the 55-minute video.
In its original review, Pilates Style says the video is “executed with a comfortable combination of humor and straight-talk, and that “you’ll know you’re in for a good time as soon as you see the intro of Vigue playing the piano and warbling ‘The Tennessee Waltz.’”
Also known for inventing the form of exercise known as Pylata, Vigue has taught thousands of yoga and Pilates classes all around the Orlando metro area 6 days a week for the last 6 years. Vigue’s Pilates for Men DVD and download are available for sale at http://www.SeanVigueFitness.com.
“I’m thrilled,” says Vigue of the award. “Pilates Style is the industry gold standard for all things Pilates, so to be mentioned in their ‘Best of’ issue is a huge honor. My classes are full of women who are dying for their husbands or boyfriends to reap the benefits Pilates has to offer, the chance to offer a comprehensive workout to such a wide audience is truly gratifying.”
