Champion Racing Oil Sponsors Brian Brown for 2012 Sprint Car Season
Clinton, MO (PRWEB) January 25, 2012
After spending much of his youth crewing for his uncle Danny and learning from his grandfather George Lasoski, Brian began his career by winning the 2000 Winged Outlaw Warriors 360 Championship in his first full season of racing. In 2002, at the famed Knoxville racetrack, Brown won both the 360-track championship and "Rookie of the Year" honors.
After taking over as a car owner in 2009, Brown gained four wins at Knoxville Raceway and finished a close second in the championship standings earning the 410 "Car Owner of the Year" honors. He's accomplished one of his life-long goals by winning the 410-track champion at Knoxville Raceway in 2007 and again in 2010.
Brian has qualified for the Knoxville Nationals A main three times. In 2007 he earned the "hard-charger award" with an impressive 13th place finish. In 2010, Brian sat on the pole of the 50th Annual Knoxville Nationals and blew a tire while running forth with only 15 laps to go in the 50-lap event. In 2011, he logged a remarkable 7th place finished despite a serious back injury caused from a violent crash at the 360 Nationals.
Champion Brands, celebrating its 55th year as an industry leader, develops synthetic motor oils for the racing, diesel, classic, vintage, hot rod, muscle car, and the engine builder markets. They manufacture numerous multi-viscosity motor oils with high zinc and phosphorous formulas designed to deliver the correct balance of chemistry to protect vintage and high performance engines, especially those using flat tappet roller cams operating at high RPM's and requiring high-pressure valve springs.
These “purpose-built” racing lubricant products contain Champion’s proprietary TVS® (Thermal Viscosity Stabilizer) which extends oil film capacity for better protection at high temperatures. The Champion oils also contain special lubricity modifiers to reduce friction, and unlock the full potential of any engine by providing increased compression, horsepower and torque.
