Northway Solutions Group Provides Education on HP Quality Center, LoadRunner, and More

Our speakers are experts in their field with information for participants to take back to their desk and use

Northway Solutions Group is kicking off the much anticipated HP Software User Summit on February 2nd, 6:00 PM in Cincinnati, Ohio. “The success of the User Summit meetings in Nashville was amazing. Reaching out to the HP user community in other regions just makes sense,” says Brian Copeland, QA Practice Director.

The purpose of the HP Software User Summit is to provide an educational environment for like-minded users to share information and discuss topics relating to HP Software such as Quality Center,LoadRunner, WebInpect, Project and Portfolio Management, and other HP products. “These meetings are not sales presentations or infomercials but rather the sharing of information relevant to the HP Software user. Our speakers are experts in their field with information for participants to take back to their desk and use,” says Scott Moore, CEO of Northway Solutions Group.

The Cincinatti HP Software User Summit will feature two exciting presentations: HP Service Virtualization – Reducing the Cost and Risk of Testing Composite Applications presented by Manish Nirmal and The HP Software Requirements Lifecycle presented by Zeena Kabir.

Manish Nirmal is a Field Strategy Manager with HP. HP Service Virtualization software allows development and testing teams to access limited or unavailable services in a simulated, virtual environment. This easy-to-use solution speeds application delivery, eliminates risks, and reduces cost by virtualizing services within existing environments. By enabling parallel development and early functional testing, it eliminates wait times. HP Service Virtualization also reduces the use of testing’s high-cost, business-critical infrastructure or pay-per-use components.

Zeena Kabir, a Senior Systems Engineer for Blueprint Software, will cover bringing quality governance to the application requirements lifecycle with the strategic integration between Blueprint Requirements Center and HP Quality Center. Together Blueprint and HP Software deliver a rich, visual approach to requirements definition and management. The joint lifecycle solution enables a complete set of rich requirements defined in Requirements Center, including UI mockups, use cases, business process diagrams, data, business rules, textual requirement, and rich simulation to ensure quality at the start of the application lifecycle. Blueprint then auto-populates all requirements into HP ALM/QC’s requirements management module. In addition, Blueprint provides the option to automatically generate 100% of the functional test scenarios and populate them directly in HP ALM/QC’s test management module while maintaining traceability with requirements management assets. The presentation will include a discussion of the end-to-end requirements process, challenges customers face, and how the HP Software Requirements Lifecycle addresses these challenges.
