The new Donate button streamlines our fundraising process, lowering operational costs so we can spend more of our resources spreading our message.
(PRWEB) January 27, 2012
Remember The Miners is excited to announce the addition of a donation button directly on its website.
The “Donate” button allows visitors to the Remember The Miners website to easily and quickly donate to the organization, which raises awareness of the story of the coal miner through media attention and community involvement. Proceeds will go towards creating signature events and The Scholars Program.
The Remember The Miners Scholars Program, the flagship program of the organization, awards scholarships to miners, dependents of miners, and students pursuing higher education in the mining industry. Last year, Remember The Miners awarded $25,000 in scholarships.
“Remember The Miners is built on the support and generous donations from people who appreciate the coal miner and importance of the coal industry,” began Jason Parsons, President of Remember The Miners. “The new Donate button streamlines our fundraising process, lowering operational costs so we can spend more of our resources spreading our message.”
