San Jose, CA (PRWEB) January 27, 2012
As San Jose’s original collective, HPMI (Holistic Pain Management Institute) has maintained an ongoing presence as an industry model. With the announcement of a move to its new location, HPMI will hold a grand re-opening this weekend complete with special prizes and a raffle.
“We are bringing back the Wheel of Medicine just because it has been so popular with our clients,” said Van Hovey, founder of HPMI. “Who doesn’t enjoy a chance to win something?”
New members will receive a 20 percent discount.
The move, two doors down from their current location, will provide additional benefits for collective members like a larger place for ongoing member meetings and volunteer organization.
HPMI has been a regular participant in public programs including Second Harvest Food Bank and saved over 225 lives in a recent blood donation drive.
Hovey, a speaker on the uses of medical cannabis, regularly meets with industry officials to keep up on the status of ever-changing marijuana laws finds inconsistencies everywhere. “Now with Sativex® looking like it’s coming onto the market next year with FDA approval, I don’t see how the argument against the value of medical cannabis’ benefits still stands,” said Hovey.
