Kupa Impressed the Media and Buyers with Windows Based Tablet Running X11 Windows 8 Preview at CES 2012 Las Vegas

At this year's CES in Las Vegas, Kupa, a Germany based manufacturer demonstrated its latest X11 Windows based tablet running both Windows 8 preview and Windows 7 Professional. Visitors were very impressed by X11's intuitive Pen + Touch control and how well it runs the Windows 8 preview. The company said the X11 is available now with Windows 7 Professional and will be upgraded to Windows 8 when it becomes available.

Many of Kupa’s customers have been waiting for a Windows based tablet that has long battery life, Pen + touch control at an affordable price and X11 is exactly what they are looking for.

At this year's CES in Las Vegas, Kupa, a Germany based manufacturer demonstrated its latest X11 Windows based tablet running both Windows 8 preview and Windows 7 Professional. Visitors were impressed by X11's intuitive Pen + Touch control and how well it runs the Windows 8 preview. The company said the X11 is available now with Windows 7 Professional and will be upgraded to Windows 8 when it becomes available.

Kupa spokesperson described to the media that many of its customers also own other tablet devices, including Apple’s iPad. As much their customers enjoy using iPad, they find iPad is to be more a content consumption device and is unable to run many productivity oriented software. Android tablet is no solution and that only Windows based tablet can run many of the mission critical application. Many of Kupa’s customers have been waiting for a Windows based tablet that has long battery life, Pen + touch control at an affordable price and X11 is exactly what they are looking for.

When asked about future product plan, Kupa spokesperson said that Kupa is in active product development cycle and will consider all available options when designing next generation of tablets. This includes developing both Intel and ARM tablets running Windows 8 and with different screen sizes. Kupa is very excited about the upcoming Microsoft Windows 8 but does not rule out possibility of developing an Android based tablet.

Many members of the Media visited Kupa's Booth, including Brad Linder of Liliputing.com. The video included with this article is an interview done by Mr Linder while he was checking Kupa X11 tablet. Kupa also invited Bruce Pechman, the Muscleman of Technology, to be its guest of honor and selected the a lucky CES participant to be a new proud owner of Kupa X11 Lux system. The drawing was held on the third day and one lucky winner from Las Vegas was picked.
