Digital TV Advice Announce Free Viewing For a Weekend On ESPN For A Weekend

Sports fans have a treat in store on the first weekend in February as ESPN are offering free access to millions of UK viewers for the whole weekend as part of a promotion with the Nokia Lumia.

ESPN Free for 1 Week

Digital TV Advice are proud to announce that UK viewers on Sky Digital, BT Vision, Top Up TV and Freeview, will be benefit from free ESPN .The free viewing period runs from 6am on Friday 3rd until 6am on Monday 6th Feb and covers ESPN and ESPN America as well as their respective HD versions (ESPN Classic is not included).

The line-up for the weekend should have something for everyone as it features the Fulham v Man City Barclays Premier League game on the Saturday, a good selection of European games and then in the early hours of Sunday a welterweight boxing special from Vegas between Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit. In fact football fans are advised to stock up on the goodies and make themselves very comfortable on the Saturday as following on from the Fulham Man City game at 4.30pm is the Italian Serie A match between giants Roma and Inter Milan at 7.45.

Other European highlights include AC Milan v Napoli on the Sunday night and Nuremberg v Dortmund in the Bundesliga to kick off the weekend at 7.30 on the Friday night.

While dwarfed by the breadth and popularity of Sky Sports, ESPN is seen by fans as a very desirable extra but it needs to be bought as an add-on to a Sky TV package for £ a month or taken on Freeview by signing up to Top Up TV and paying a monthly fee (which can be done by the month with no long contract if you prefer). Virgin Media is slightly different - they have 3 levels of TV service, M+, L and XL and ESPN comes included on XL (possibly why they are not taking part in this promotion).

With more Barclays Premier League, FA Cup games and UEFA Europa League matches coming up in February the hope is that fans will enjoy the freebie so much they'll be tempted enough to subscribe - here are the key listings for the free weekend (although subject to change):
