Clarity Litigation, a leading litigation support service provider in south Louisiana, is pleased to announce the addition of Amy Johnson as a team member in the field of electronic discovery consulting. Clarity will be expanding it's support services to the legal and business community to include risk management of data collections.

“Although we realized our current offerings of litigation support services, from discovery through trial, are vital to our clients,” says Clint Shirley, co-owner of Clarity, “the information brought to us by attorneys for a single case is just the tip of the iceberg. We wanted to provide our legal and business clientele with a greater range of guidance about electronic data – not only during litigation but before a law suit arrives. Bringing Amy on board allows us to expand both the depth and breadth of our services. She has over 25 years experience in the litigation support arena. Most importantly, she brings new perspectives on risk management for data. Helping attorneys learn how to effectively manage and use their clients' information is not only smart but required by the courts. Amy is an important addition as a facilitator between attorneys and the IT world to meet those goals.”

Amy Johnson hails from Nashville, TN and graduated from Tulane University. She has worked for multiple law firms in New Orleans, both big and small, since the 1980's. Her background includes extensive experience as a paralegal in the areas of anti-trust, admiralty, commercial litigation, tort, insurance coverage and product liability, as well as 16+ years as a litigation support administrator, with emphasis on all phases of electronic discovery

“I am thrilled to be affiliated with Clarity and their top notch tech team, “stated Ms. Johnson. “Coming from decades of experience on the law firm side, I understand what attorneys need to best serve their clients. Intelligent advice about data management can be the difference between winning and losing a case. Perhaps what's even more important is actively helping clients direct their information technology. Those efforts can result in huge financial benefits, both prior to and during litigation. Joining forces with Clarity means I have access to the expert support services needed to cope with the often huge amounts of documents, data and e-mail. Being on the Clarity team means I am better able to provide a complete range of services to guide counsel and management through the electronic data maze. “
