Partnership with BRC

“We are delighted to be working with such a highly respected organisation and believe the products and services being offered through this partnership will provide considerable value for BRC members,” said Keith Evans, Chief Executive of BRC Trading.

BRC Global Standards, a leading global safety and quality certification programme and Alchemy Systems, a leader in innovative training solutions for the food and drink sectors, have formed a strategic alliance to offer BRC certificated suppliers the SISTEM training and compliance management platform. The partnership represents a combined effort of both parties to make a difference in the safety of the global food supply.

“We are delighted to be working with such a highly respected organisation and believe the products and services being offered through this business partnership will provide considerable value for BRC members,” said Keith Evans, Chief Executive of BRC Trading.

Developed over 8 years ago by Alchemy, SISTEM is used in over one thousand food and drink processing facilities to automate the delivery and documentation of personnel training. It is also used in multiple countries to help companies meet the training requirements set forth by the Global Food Safety Initiative’s approved schemes, such as BRC.

"The high standards set forth by BRC align seamlessly with Alchemy's efforts to provide world-class training to establish and maintain a strong culture of food safety. In fact, many of our customers have used our training platform (SISTEM) to meet the training requirements necessary for BRC certification," said Jeff Eastman, Chief Executive Officer of Alchemy. "We are encouraged by the opportunities our partnership with BRC will bring to the industry and look forward to doing our part to make the food supply safer for consumers."
