Overtime Class Action Filed Against Contractor For Comcast

The law firm of Louis H. Watson, Jr., P.A., has confirmed that it has filed a overtime class action lawsuit against Poole's Cable Services, Inc., which is a independent contractor for Comcast.

From the evidence we have seen so far, we believe it is pretty clear that Poole's Cable Services, Inc., has been cheating its employees for a long time.

The law firm of Louis H. Watson, Jr., P.A. has confirmed that it has filed a overtime class action lawsuit against Poole's Cable Services, Inc., which is a independent contractor for Comcast. The complaint that was filed on January 20, 2012, alleges that cable technicians were not paid overtime wages when they worked over forty (40) hours a week.

In addition, the complaint alleges that the cable techinicians were cheated out of compensation for mileage as well as being subjected to improper deductions that were not agreed to by the cable technicians. According to the complaint, Poole's Cable Services, Inc., employs numerous cable technicians in Mississippi and Louisiana.

Plaintiff's counsel Nick Norris stated, "From the evidence we have seen so far, we believe it is pretty clear that Poole's Cable Services, Inc., has been cheating its employees for a long time."

The case is currently pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. The case is Dean M. Reaves, Jr., et al v. Poole's Cable Services, Inc., Civil Action No. 3:12-CV-43-TSL-MTP
