STA-BIL lawn mower racers compete in ten classes at speeds up to 60 mph with all cutting blades removed. Lawn mower racers across the country have benefited from Art’s generosity. Be it a spare part, extra engine or entire lawn mower, if Dr. Art is in the pits, what’s his is yours.”
“Also of special ‘mowtivation’ will be the appearance of Rocket Man Racing, with team members from Florida, New York, North Carolina and New Jersey,” Kaufman added. “The Rocket Man Team will have six drivers on 10 racing mowers. Pat Sullivan is ‘The Rocket Man’. He started it all about 10 years ago. He is a 4-time National Champion and has built every one of the team’s 10 machines. Wyatt Sullivan is Pat’s grandson, racing at 10 years old, and finished 2nd nationally last year in his rookie year. Danny, Pat's nephew, is coming all the way from Plattsburgh, NY. Driving over 24 hours, that is ‘mowtivation!’ - Pete, Pat's son and Wyatt's dad, is a 3-time national champion, and is coming from Raleigh, North Carolina. Husband and wife racers Tina (Pat's daughter) and Mike Paccione are traveling in from New Jersey. Mike is a 2-time national champion. Pat, Pete, and Wyatt are the first and only 3-generation racing family in the USLMRA. And the team has an awesome pit crew in Joey (9), McKenna (8), Nicholas (7), and Olivia (5).
