SharePrice and Vidivici launch unique new service.

It’s about giving people transparency so they can take charge of their own fortunes.

SharePrice (, a division of Interactive Investor Plc, this week became the first online broker in the UK to deploy Vidivici’s unique new service for individual investors.

The service enables people to pool their views on the market, then analyzes and uses this information to find what appear to be the best trades for each investor.

Vidivici brings together a new kind of social networking with a sophisticated analytical search engine. Its aim is to identify for each of its users the trades they need to make to maximize the overall return they can expect to see from their portfolios – based on their own views and the community’s views on the market, their risk appetite, current holdings, trading costs and taxes.

“We recently surveyed our customers and asked them what additional tools they’d like us to provide. The most popular request, made by 96% of respondents, was for portfolio recommendations,” said Tomas Carruthers, CEO of Interactive Investor. “Providing Vidivici’s amazing new service is just part of what we’ve always done – listen to our customers. I think it’s a great complement to our platform that’s fun to use and will make the investment process easier and more interactive for SharePrice users. We’re looking forward to rolling out the service on our flagship site as the next step.”

Vidivici’s founder and CEO Jeremy Mabbitt explained his thinking behind the service: “More and more people are now taking direct control of their investment decisions, but for many the problem is: with so much information freely available – much of it far from impartial – how do you work out what trades to make and feel confident in your decisions? This is the problem we’re solving. It’s about giving people transparency so they can take charge of their own fortunes”.

The service is currently at beta stage and has been integrated with SharePrice’s online brokerage site ( It is available now to SharePrice users at no charge.
