Come meet Brooke Saucier, distiller and brand ambassador of Few Spirits, as he pours samples of Few's finely crafted beverages at Sun Singer Wine & Spirit. Saucier will join Brian Bowman, Sun Singer's owner, for a tasting event on February 1, from 6-8pm. Sun Singer is at 1115 Windsor Road in Champaign.

Few Spirits began distilling in June of 2011, and has been distributed in Illinois since August 2011. As a grain-to-glass distillery, Few does not use any neutral grain spirits, preferring to mash and ferment their spirit in house. "Our Master Distiller, Paul Hletko, is very proud of the fact that our alcohol is produced in-house," says Saucier. "Our process allows us to control the quality of our spirits, from its beginnings as Midwestern grain to our delicious finished products."

Few Spirits has received critical acclaim, ranging from a Double Gold from the New York World Wine & Spirits competition for Few White Whiskey to a "Highly Recommended" rating from the Beverage Tasting Institute. Few has been featured in the Chicago Tribune and Whisky Magazine, among others. Master Distiller Paul Hletko is the founder of Few Spirits, and brings his family legacy to each product.

Sun Singer is dedicated to being Champaign-Urbana's foremost Wine Emporium. While boasting a retail collection of over 1100 fine wines, 700 spirits and 500 import and craft beers, Sun Singer is truly about people and has become a neighborhood institution known for friendly, attentive service and an atmosphere that leaves you smiling with the cares of the world suspended if only for awhile.
