These employees have shown drive, initiative, and a high level of passion for their jobs and I know that their new roles will help make 2012 the best year yet for the design department.

Page 1 Solutions is happy announce the promotion of three of their employees within the company. Tim Hankinson was just promoted to a Website Developer position, Stacey Ball has been promoted to Senior Front End Developer, and Allison Boozer has been promoted to a Website Design Assistant position.

Tim was hired by Page 1 in April 2011, when he joined the design department as a Website Design Assistant. Since his first day, Tim has been focused on expanding his design and coding skills and knew that he eventually wanted to move into a full-time developer role within the company. He took the initiative to improve his technical knowledge outside of the office, so that if an opening presented itself, he would be ready for the transition. “I would go home and spend the evening reading books and working on websites, but because I love what I do, it never felt like work,” Tim said. “This promotion is just proof that if you are focused on attaining a goal, you will reach it if you work hard enough.”

Stacey joined the Page 1 team in August 2010, as the company’s first Drupal developer. She came on board right as Page 1 made the transition from designing traditional HTML websites to designing websites within a content management system (CMS). Stacey has been a vital asset to the design department during this switchover. She has been in charge of developing many of the systems that now allow the company to create award winning websites for their clients. “Looking back at how far the company has come since I was first hired, gives me a real sense of accomplishment,” Stacey said. “To know that I have been part of developing a new system that allows us take our design department to the next level makes me proud. I’m excited about my new position and the future of the company.”

Allison came on board at Page 1 in October 2010, when she was hired as an Assistant Internet Marketing Consultant. Over the last year, Allison’s skills have grown and her passion for website design became evident. When the opportunity arose to join the design team, she was delighted. “My background is in graphic design and it is truly what I love to do,” Allison said. “When this opportunity presented itself, I knew that I needed to make the move into a new department to further my skills and professional growth.”

Sara Desmond, Page 1’s Director of Design and Development, is thrilled with all of the recent changes in her department. Sara took over the design department in October 2011 and has been focused on bringing the department to a new level of efficiency. “I am really excited about the recent promotions,” Sara said. “These employees have shown drive, initiative, and a high level of passion for their jobs and I know that their new roles will help make 2012 the best year yet for the design department.”

Page 1 is proud of their award-winning design team. Over the last few years, Page 1’s designers and developers have won many awards for their websites, including awards from Hermes Creative, Spotlight Awards, Interactive Medias, WebAwards, Mar Com, Webby, and many more.
