Health Advocate, Inc. Donates Coats To “Feel The Warmth”

Company collects more than 100 coats as part of a community service project in honor of Martin Luther King Day

Health Advocate, Inc., the nation’s leading healthcare assistance and advocacy company, collected more than 100 coats for “Feel The Warmth,” a non-profit that provides winter coats, as well as school supplies and toys, to the less fortunate in the Greater Philadelphia region.

Health Advocate organized the coat drive for the second straight year, in the beginning of January in recognition of Martin Luther King Day. Employees were asked to drop off gently used or new coats.

“Health Advocate is happy to support such a worthy cause in our community,” said Martin Rosen, cofounder and Executive Vice President of Health Advocate. “This is such an amazing organization and we are proud that our employees contributed to this important cause to help those in need in our community and to also help honor the legacy of Dr. King.”

The majority of the coats that Health Advocate collected for “Feel The Warmth” will be donated to families in the Norristown and Pottstown area. “Feel The Warmth” finds families through organizations in the area that assist with housing assistance, food stamps or utility aid. Families are also recommended by neighbors and friends who know someone facing financial difficulties.

“For the second year in a row, Health Advocate has shown its generosity by donating over 100 winter coats to the Montgomery County non-profit “Feel The Warmth.” The good will demonstrated by the employees will directly impact less fortunate families in Montgomery County,” said Matt Frangiosa, Executive Director and founder of “Feel The Warmth.”

About Feel The Warmth

Feel The Warmth not only distributes to shelters and soup kitchens, but also directly to individuals and families who live paycheck to paycheck. Donating four or five coats to a struggling family saves them anywhere from $100 to $200. The money they save ban be used for food, school supplies, utilities, etc.
