BlueGlass Interactive acquires Voltier Digital to boost its digital offering with more content marketing and production services. Voltier Digital, which specializes in infographics production and data visualization, will be fully integrated into BlueGlass Interactive.

The need for companies to implement and execute effective content marketing strategies is constantly increasing, so we are thrilled to have one of the leaders in this space become a part of BlueGlass.

BlueGlass Interactive, Inc. an innovative Internet marketing company specializing in social media marketing and search engine optimization, today announced the acquisition of Voltier Digital, a digital agency specializing in content marketing, infographic creation and data visualization. As part of the agreement, all Voltier Digital employees will join BlueGlass and Voltier’s three founders will hold senior roles on BlueGlass' production and marketing teams.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but BlueGlass Interactive Co-founder Chris Winfield described the move as strategic:

The need for companies to implement and execute effective content marketing strategies is constantly increasing, so we are thrilled to have one of the leaders in this space become a part of BlueGlass."

According to a recent study by the Custom Content Council, more than 75% of US corporate marketers say they are aggressively (16%) or moderately (62%) shifting spending from traditional marketing to branded-content marketing.

The acquisition enhances BlueGlass Interactive’s marketing capabilities, adding more key industry experts to a seasoned team, which includes prominent digital professionals such as Chris Winfield, Greg Boser, Loren Baker, Danielle Winfield and their recently appointed Chairman, Richard Zwicky.

BlueGlass Interactive’s digital offering includes search and social media marketing services. With Voltier Digital, the service offering grows to include infographics, data vizualization, and kinetic typography.
