Wayne, PA (PRWEB) January 31, 2012
SkillSurvey®, Inc., the leading provider of reference-checking solutions, has announced that the company’s bookings in 2011 grew by 73-percent over the prior year. Growth was mainly fueled by subscriptions to its core Pre-Hire 360® reference-checking software that hundreds of organizations leverage to improve their hiring.
“Our solution provides a best practice for line managers, such as sales directors and customer service leaders, and recruiters to use in assessing their candidates before hiring them,” noted Ray Bixler, president and chief executive officer of SkillSurvey®. “The behavioral feedback and open comments that a candidate’s references provide makes the reference-checking step a strategic component of the hiring process that predicts the long-term success of an organization’s new hires.”
The company’s growth continues among the retail, finance, consumer products, information technology, manufacturing and professional services industries, including clients such as CH2M HILL®, Endo® Pharmaceuticals, John Hancock®, Johns Manville and QVC®. The healthcare sector also remains a strong focus, and the firm now has over 500 hospital sites nationwide, including Brigham & Women’s, Scottsdale Healthcare® and Tufts Medical Center.
SkillSurvey further expanded its technology platform in 2011, providing these features:
- Mobile access to Pre-Hire 360®, allowing recruiters, candidates and references to use the service through almost any mobile device – over 23,000 references have used the mobile version to-date
- New surveys for references, with probing questions about the behaviors and skills proven to correlate with job success for education, finance, sales, hospitality, customer service and healthcare positions
- An open application program interface, or API, allowing companies to integrate SkillSurvey into human resource systems like Taleo for a seamless workflow
There are now more than 250 surveys available for recruiters to choose from, and each one is scientifically-validated to predict success and retention of a candidate for each position.
In addition, the firm offers its exclusive passive candidate database, a group of references participating in the Pre-Hire 360® survey process, who would like to be kept informed of future job openings. An average-size organization that fills 1,000 openings per year and processes five candidates for each position through SkillSurvey®, will amass a leads database of approximately 18,000 passive candidates.
