Tuscan Hills, has been acquired by St George real estate developer, Southern Utah Development, for an undisclosed sum from the First Federal Savings Bank of Iowa.
"The St. George real estate market is getting more robust, particularly for new homes that offer a maintenance free lifestyle," stated Dara Tancredi, President of Southern Utah Development. "We are extremely pleased to have acquired this upscale townhouse project. We have long admired Tuscan Hill's architectural feel and attention to detail and we expect to retain all of those qualities when we restart construction," stated Dara Tancredi.
Tuscan Hills is a master planned development located in the Tonaquint area of St George, less than one mile from the new Dixie Drive Exit on Interstate 15. The community was originally planned and developed by Haskell Homes until 2009 when it was returned back to the lender.
The developer has selected Richardson Brothers Custom Homes as the builder for the project. No date has been announced as to when new units will be available for sale.
