The event really is centered on giving back to our customers and the community that has kept us in business all these years
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) October 11, 2012
Plain City-based M.C. Mobility Systems is hosting a mobility product open house for people with disabilities and their families in the greater Columbus Area. The event will take place October 11, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 7233 Industrial Pkwy., Plain City.
“We do these events a couple of times a year and the turnout is always amazing,” said Dennis Charvat, M.C. Mobility Systems General Manager. “We expect even more participation at this year’s event.”
The "Columbus Fall Fest Open House" will provide a wealth of information to the disability community, with representatives from major mobility product manufacturers such as BraunAbility and Bruno Independent Living Aids on hand to answer questions about wheelchair vans and other handicap accessibility products.
Xavier University will have representatives present to provide information about the 2013 Remarkable Families Symposium and disability resources for families with disabilities. Additionally, OSU Driving services will discuss driving evaluations for people with disabilities. Case management providers and companion animal companies will also be onsite.
M.C. Mobility Systems will also be performing free minor service adjustments to mobility vehicle equipment.
“The event really is centered on giving back to our customers and the community that has kept us in business all these years,” said Charvat. “Any information or services we can provide that will enable this community to live more independently we’re happy to do.”
In addition to disability resources and one on ones with manufacturers, attendees will also be able to see new products, participate in product demos, and enjoy free food and drinks, provided in part by Jersey Mike’s. There will also be over $500 in Gift Giveaways including an 40” LCD TV, an Amazon Kindle and more.
The event is open to the public but the company encourages attendees to visit their website at http://www.mcmobilitysystems.com/rsvp to RSVP, so that there will be plenty of food and goody bags for all the guests.
