The company's policy reflects the huge growth in demand for LED bulbs and accessories through the country, both in the private and commercial sectors. Households in particular have significantly increased their demand for LED technology to offset rising utility bills and environmental concerns. In this regard, the new warranty policy could further facilitate the rapid transition from obsolete lighting technology to LEDs.

The new warranty policy covers both defective and damaged items. Items that are found to be damaged will be replaced free of charge. However, customers must notify BDI of any damage within seven business days. While the warranty is fundamentally the same for all products, certain details and conditions depend on the particular product.

Certain items, however, will not be accepted for refund: special orders customised for a specific customer, custom cuts based on unique requirements of a specific customer, and items sold due to clearance, closeout and overstock.

LED rope lights and LED strip lights feature a 30-day manufacturer's warranty for non -working sections and the included accessories. If the product itself is found defective or if 30% or greater is not working, customers will be sent a replacement free of charge. BDI will also provide invisible splice kits for LED rope lights and solder-less splices for LED strip lights, free of charge. After the 30-day manufacturer's warranty, the products will carry a 2 year limited warranty on non-working sections. During this time, BDI will replace any failed sections and provide splicing kits for repairs. If 30% or more of the product fails, then special consideration (at BDI's sole discretion) may be made for replacing the entire spool(s) after the product is returned and tested thoroughly.

LED household bulbs, which are in high demand, also benefit from a 30-day manufacturer's warranty and a limited 2-year warranty for non-working and defective bulbs.

LED T8 lights feature a 30-day manufacturer's warranty and a limited 3-year warranty for non-working and defective tubes.

LED panel lights feature a 30-day manufacturer's' warranty and a limited 3-year warranty for non-working and defective panels.

LED automotive bulbs feature a 30-day manufacturer's warranty and a limited two-year warranty for non-working and defective bulbs.

LED Strip lights (and Incandescent) are covered by a 90-day manufacturer’s warranty.

Any product or accessory that is found to defective or damaged will be replaced free of charge. BDI has also devoted large amounts of resources to help facilitate customer care services and increase the efficiency of product testing and replacement in the case of any damage or defects.

This warranty policy is designed to cover virtually every form of LED lighting that is used in households and businesses.
