SSi-SEARCH, Inc., a retained executive search firm specializing in healthcare technology leadership, today announced that Ray Scott has been named Client Partner for the company. Scott will lead the firm’s recruitment of senior level executives in the area of healthcare IT structure and economics including chief information officers, chief technology officers, vice presidents of business systems and more.
Before joining SSi-SEARCH, Scott served as CIO at Vail Valley Medical Center in Vail, Colorado. Leading up to that, he spent four years as a consultant offering expertise on the delivery of healthcare technology tools to meet the business objectives of the system. Scott spent the eight years prior to that as a division CIO for Baycare, a nine-hospital system in Tampa, Florida, where he oversaw IT for four of their hospitals. Also, earlier in his career, Scott was instrumental in deploying one of the first enterprise-wide electronic health records in the country. Scott has a BA and MBA.
