Now through November 6, 2012, brownie lovers can submit their original Brownie Dessert Recipes on Dancing Deer’s Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/DancingDeer (see Official Rules for details). Contestants can choose which of Dancing Deer’s Brownies and Squares will be showcased in their dessert recipe, and share the story behind their submission, along with photos too!
Once all the entries are in, Dancing Deer and celebrity judges Nicole Coady, Executive Pastry Chef with the award-winning Finale Desserterie & Bakery in Boston, and Sara Ross, Founder, Owner and Executive Chef of Kickass Cupcakes, will assign “brownie points” to each recipe for creativity, originality and taste, and narrow the field to the top four (4) contenders. And then it gets even crazier! The American public will be invited to visit Dancing Deer’s Facebook page from November 15-26, 2012 and cast their vote to determine the ultimate brownie dessert recipe. All finalists will be encouraged to drum up votes with their friends, fans and followers via social media.
All of the finalists will receive Dancing Deer Brownies for 6 months (a $150 value, including shipping) and have their recipe featured on the “Award Winning Brownie Dessert Recipe Card” to be included in select Dancing Deer Brownie Gifts shipped throughout the United States this holiday season. The Grand Prize Winner will be awarded a year’s supply of Dancing Deer Brownies (a $300 value, including shipping), will take home a $250 cash prize, and be featured on Dancing Deer’s Facebook page, website and e-newsletter.
“We always have such a good time developing and eating our Brownies and Squares here at Dancing Deer, so we are very excited to see how creative and crazy America’s brownie lovers will get when coming up with their own recipes!” said Laura Stanton, Director of Marketing at Dancing Deer Baking Company.
