Boerne’s Samuel V. Champion High School is receiving some refreshing help this football season from Kinetico Water Softeners of San Antonio. The Champion Chargers are selling bottled water with customized logos, courtesy of the water softener and water filtration company, during halftimes of home football games at Boerne ISD Stadium.
“We have a child at Champion High School and wanted to do whatever we could to help the school,” said owner Chris Knippa. “Providing water was a natural fit for our water softener company.”
All bottled water sales will raise money to support the Champion High School band’s booster club.
Kinetico’s love for football and youth sports extends beyond the high school level and into the Boerne community. Kinetico is also the title sponsor of the YMCA’s Raiders of the ten and under tackle football league. While they learn the fundamentals of football, rules of the game, teamwork, strategy and sportsmanship, Kinetico will be proudly displayed across the backs of their jerseys.
“We love the Boerne Community and wanted to do our part to help the kids play sports at an early age,” said Knippa. “Plus we had a chance to sponsor the Raiders’ team. Their jerseys are red so they’re technically the Red Raiders. As a Texas Tech alumnus, that puts a smile on my face!”
Kinetico Water Softeners of San Antonio sells the most-efficient water softeners and drinking water systems on the market. They have been serving San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country since 1970. For more information, visit kineticosa.com.
