Champion Real Estate Services, a full-service real estate company, has been named the third-place winner of the Columbus Business First Fast 50 award. This award recognizes the year-over-year growth of private companies based in central Ohio.

“We are truly honored and humbled to receive our first Fast 50 award. Our continued growth reflects the commitment and dedication of our employees,” Brian Yeager, Champion president and CEO, said. “A company is only as good as the people who are working for it, and we are very grateful for the team we have in place.”

The award is given based on three years of revenue growth with honorees’ financial results verified by accounting firm GBQ. Nominees are required to have at least $1 million in annual sales for the three most recent fiscal years. As the youngest company to make this year’s list, Champion’s average sales growth in the previous three years ranged from 200-499%.

Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Office Michelle R. Yeager-Thornton, agrees that Champion’s success can be attributed to its employees. “Our growth and success would not be possible if our staff wasn’t committed. Everyone on the Champion team shows up to work every day ready to give 100%. We truly appreciate the time and effort they put into their jobs. If it wasn’t for our team, we would not be standing here today.”

“There are many dangers and pitfalls in growing too quickly, and we are very cognizant of the traps,” Yeager stated. “Our plan is to stick to what we are good at: buying and managing affordable apartments in desirable locations. The apartment business is what we know and where we will stay.”
