Every parent of a young child is familiar with the struggle that happens every night at bedtime.

In her new children’s book, Dianna Schneider provides solutions to this issue faced by many families each night.

The first installment in a series, “Rocky Ford Stories: Sleepytime at Rocky Ford” addresses the bedtime issue and presents calm, nurturing and effective strategies to assist parents and other caretakers.

Seeing a lack of attention to the wholesome development of the children in our country, Schneider created the series to help families deal with everyday issues in a productive and healthy way.

“Through witnessing the interactions of the book’s characters, both children and adults will develop a greater sense of personal responsibility and gain confidence through making more beneficial and rewarding choices,” says Schneider.

Following the adventures of a group of young animals, “Rocky Ford Stories” is inspired by Schneider’s childhood memories, professional experience and personal observation.

Schneider is confident that through reading “Rocky Ford Stories: Sleepytime at Rocky Ford”, adults and children will gain the tools to overcome the bedtime struggle.

“I want to impart understanding and practical guidance to parents and other adults with small children in their lives,” says Schneider. “Children do learn what they live.”
