All manufacturers will be required to feature its safety labels on the front of each bottle beginning in 2013 to 2015, depending on the country and product type. This new policy is put into effect under the name Harmonized System Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS).
Van Tibolli Beauty is a worldwide company and has distribution in 55 countries internationally. VTB currently sells to countries which are governed by regulatory bodies such as the EU, Health Canada, OSHA, and NICNAS (Australia). These organizations recognize that an internationally harmonized approach to classification and labeling provides the foundation for all countries to ensure the safety. Van Tibolli and all other beauty companies are required to provide this information in the near future; therefore the mandatory safety labels have already been applied to all of VTB’s aerosol bottles.
The first products launched under this initiative were GKhair’s aerosols; GKhair’s Light Hold and Strong Hold Hairsprays and Dry Shampoo are compliant as of today and will be on into the future.
