Boise, Idaho (PRWEB) October 10, 2012
BodySpace, the world’s largest social fitness network with 1.3 million community members, powered by Bodybuilding.com, and Iron Man Magazine, one of the longest-running bodybuilding publications, are on the hunt for their 2013 BodySpace Spokesmodels and magazine cover stars.
The 5th annual BodySpace Spokesmodel Search, Presented by Iron Man Magazine, is offering health and fitness enthusiasts the opportunity to break into the fitness industry and gain admiration of fans from all over the world. One lucky man and woman will grace the cover of Iron Man Magazine and appear in a feature spread; receive national exposure through Bodybuilding.com (the most-visited bodybuilding and fitness website with over 275 million page views worldwide per month) with exclusive site placement and ad campaigns; represent Bodybuilding.com and the BodySpace community at the 2013 Arnold Expo in Columbus, Ohio and the 2013 Olympia Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada; plus much, much more!
BodySpace Spokesmodel hopefuls have the month of October to register on Bodybuilding.com and the month of November to solidify enough online votes to be one of the top twenty men or top twenty women to qualify for the semi-final round. An internal judging committee will then select five lucky finalists (five men and five women) to win an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles where they will compete in the finals at the 2013 Los Angeles Fitness Expo. Finalists will take part in a photo shoot with world-renowned photographer Mike Neveux at the Iron Man Studios, participate in a video shoot for Bodybuilding.com, and compete on stage in a physique competition.
Previous BodySpace Spokesmodel winners (and even finalists) have gone onto future success from the exposure this opportunity has brought them. Better than that, they are official role models for over 1.3 million BodySpace members.
“Winning the first ever BodySpace Spokesmodel contest has been an amazing experience for me and continues to reward me long after I was presented with the trophy. For months after the Iron Man Magazine issue came out, I was getting messages from people all over the world that had seen it! That's just one of those things that I'll have forever...” Sean Harley, 2009 BodySpace Spokesmodel.
“I was a plumber, HVAC tech, and electrician with a dream to pursue a fitness modeling career before I entered this contest and that's it. After conquering some personal fears and putting myself out there, the dream has come true... Doors are opening and this journey is just beginning,” Ben Booker, 2010 BodySpace Spokesmodel.
“Winning the BodySpace Spokesmodel contest has given me instant exposure with landing the Cover of Iron Man Magazine and being featured on Bodybuilding.com. Training is something I am truly passionate about and am always eager to share that knowledge with everyone I meet. I love interacting with my fans and want to become a figure they can truly lean on for advice. Best part of winning was being able to meet the Bodybuilding.com team and making some life long friends.” Craig Capurso, 2012 BodySpace Spokesmodel winner.
"The best part about being the 2012 Spokesmodel were the opportunities it provided outside of the fitness industry to allow me to interact with average people who simply want to live the best lives they can. It provided opportunities to speak to kids, adolescents, and adults from all walks of life and offer inspiration, hope, and encouragement through the way I live my life." Laura Bailey, 2012 BodySpace Spokesmodel winner.
