St. George, Utah (PRWEB) October 12, 2012
Florida Local SEO and Health Boss announce that The Huntsman World Senior Games, the world’s largest annual multi-sport event for athletes 50 and over, had a small but powerful new friend at its Opening Ceremonies in St. George, Utah on October 9th.
Following Olympic tradition, a Parade of Athletes, singing, dancing and fireworks were punctuated by the Cauldron Lighting by super-ultra-runner, Stan Cottrell, who had with him the friend as he kicked off two weeks of athletic events.
This new international friend? It’s the D.O.V.E. scenar, a revolutionary, cell phone size device out of Russia that helps the body heal athletic injuries and boost athletic performance. Tested by Russians and others in international competition, it’s a fitting, natural adjunct to any sports endeavor. Cottrell calls the DOVE “his devoted health assistant” as he continues to run remarkable distances for a 69-year-old.
The Games welcome to St. George approximately 10,000 senior athletes of all skill levels, coming from 25 countries to compete in 27 different sports. This includes sports heroes, former record holders, who like Cottrell are no strangers to athletic injuries. He has experienced everything from severe blood blisters and muscle strains to broken vertebrae on his 2100-mile China Run during the course of his career’s 200,000 miles of runs.
Cottrell beat the former Trans-USA Guinness Record by 5 hours in 1980. But he is best known internationally for his decades of ultra-distance “Friendship Runs” through 38 countries promoting people-to-people efforts to bring nations and peoples together. He calls it “breaking down the walls that divide one human heart from another.”
Now he is getting ready for his lifetime dream project – The Great Global Friendship Run with ultra marathons plus business, cultural, sports and children’s events in all countries of the world, spreading cross-cultural friendship and raising funds for orphans.
The Senior Games, with their emphasis on spreading international friendship through athletic events, provide the perfect arena for the USA “start” for this ambitious 5-6 year project.
The Games offer free admission in St. George, so it’s available to all. In that same spirit, the approachable Kentucky native, Stan Cottrell, will be available at the venue throughout the Games to answer questions, sign autographs, and freely share his conditioning, endurance and vitality “secrets” with anyone who asks.
What are they? The proprietary training method he calls “EFED” (Even Flow of Energy Distribution), powerful nutritional and dietary products to fuel his body over long distances, and the breakthrough energy technology incorporated in his DOVE scenar.
The scenar technology was invented for the Russian space program but is now available to all. Cottrell’s friend, Irina Kossovskaia, M.D., Ph.D., D.N.M., served on the research team and continues to be intimately involved. She joins some other medical professionals in hoping scenar will enable people to overcome many ailments without the need for a physician.
“Anyone can be trained to use this non-invasive biofeedback tool that fine-tunes your body’s ability to heal itself,” said Dr. Irina Kossovskaia, founder of HealthBoss. “I have often recommended the DOVE scenar for self-treatment, as it treats pain and illness quickly and efficiently. It is invaluable for athletes, as it speeds up the healing process 2-3 times, returning the body to the condition it had pre-injury, and it is safe and convenient to use.”
