Miami, FL (PRWEB) October 15, 2012
In what may be the most magnificent locations in Florida that have ever hosted an officially sanctioned Competitive Eating Championship, GameTime in Miami and Tampa have announced both The GameTime National Tex Mex Roll Eating Championship and The GameTime National Chicken Slider Eating Championship to be held on November 3rd and 4th. These Eating Championships, sanctioned by All Pro Eating, each have a $1,500.00 prize pool and will pay $750.00 to the first place finisher at each location.
The GameTime National Eating Championships will see several Nationally Ranked Professional Competitive Eaters in addition to local and Amateur Competitive Eaters. Listed participants include All Pro Eating’s #2 Ranked Professional Competitive Eater, Eric “Silo” Dahl who most recently obtained The National Lobster Roll Eating Champion title and their #4 Ranked Professional Competitive Eater Will “The Champ” Millender who won The National Hamantaschen Eating Champion title earlier this year. All interested participants can find additional information on All Pro Eating’s website or by emailing HungryGenius (at) CompetitiveEaters (dot) com – local participation is strongly encouraged.
“Very rarely is there a perfect storm found in the Competitive Eating world, but I believe The GameTime National Eating Championships will introduce a Tex Mex tempest and a Chicken Slider squall that will create a Competitive Eating climate that has never been seen before. This new standard will not only establish Competitive Eating as the hottest sport in the great state of Florida, but I believe they will produce results that all future Eating Championships will be compared to!” stated Todd Greenwald, Chairman of All Pro Eating. “GameTime has long been known for family fun entertainment that they deliver every day and these Competitive Eating Championships introduce yet another way that GameTime provides an extremely unique and captivating venue that includes interactive games, prizes, food, attractions and so much more!”
Greenwald went on to say that he believes that a new National Tex Mex Roll Eating Record is within reach of the Competitive Eaters who participate in Miami on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and a new National Chicken Slider Eating Record will be established on Sunday in Tampa at 2:30 p.m. In addition to the records, each Eating Championship will award $750.00 to First Place, $500.00 to Second Place and $250.00 to Third Place. GameTime has planned several promotions at each location during the Competitive Eating Championships.
